SSC CGL 2021: Some candidates faced problems while making the correction charges payment

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has allowed the payment of the pending correction charges for the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2021 from February 3 to February 4. According to a statement released by the commission, some SSC CGL exam candidates faced problems while making payments for submitting corrected applications.
The SSC CGL application 2021 correction portal was opened from January 28 to February 1. Candidates were allowed to correct the mistakes in their application form and resubmit it by visiting the SSC official website at ssc.nic.in.

According to the statement from SSC, when some candidates made payment while submitting their corrected form at the “window for application form correction" at ssc.nic.in, only Rs 2 and Rs 5 got deducted instead of the correct charges of Rs 200 and Rs 500 respectively. Candidates who faced this issue can pay the remaining amount of Rs 198 and Rs 495 from February 3 to February 4, by 11:30 pm, at ssc.nic.in, said the statement.

“Only those candidates will be allowed to make payment, whose partial payment was deducted due to technical reasons,” it said.
The SSC CGL exam is scheduled to be conducted in April 2022. The SSC CGL exam is conducted to recruit public servants for the central government. The CGL exam is conducted for posts such as auditor, accountant, tax assistant, assistant section officer, sub-inspector, among others. Candidates are required to possess a bachelor’s degree to be eligible to attend the SSC CGL exam.
