NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 result soon. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment exam will be able to download the SSC CGL tier 1 result 2024 through the official website, ssc.gov.in. The commission will issue the CGL tier 1 final answer key along with the result.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the SSC CGL results 2024. The SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2024 was held from September 9 to September 26.
The SSC CGL provisional answer key was issued on October 4, 2024. Candidates were able to raise objections between October 3 and October 8, 2024. The subject experts will review the challenges and release the final answer key. The SSC CGL 2024 results will be prepared and announced based on this final answer key.
SSC CGL 2024 total vacancies
The SSC CGL recruitment 2024 drive aims to fill up a total of 17, 727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in the department.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam paper consisted of objective-type, multiple-choice questions covering general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension. Each section included 25 questions worth 50 marks. The question paper was available in both English and Hindi, except for the English comprehension section.
Candidates in the general or unreserved category must score at least 30 percent to pass the exam. For OBC and EWS candidates, the passing marks are set at 25 percent, while candidates in other categories need to score a minimum of 20 percent.
