SSC CGL Final Result 2024: Aspirants complain of increase in marks for candidates with low scores after normalisation, demand transparency.
NEW DELHI: Flagging errors in the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) final result 2024, candidates have urged the commission to issue the SSC CGL final answer key. In an online campaign, the aspirants complained of irregularities in the normalisation process used to prepare the SSC CGL results and raised serious concerns over transparency.

The commission recently declared the SSC CGL final result 2024 with 18,174 candidates qualifying the tier 2 exam held in January this year. The recruitment process included tier 1 written exam, tier 2 exam, document verification, and skill test.
Several aspirants alleged that candidates having notably low raw marks have obtained higher scores after normalisation and have sought an explanation from the commission.
An X user, Umed Pratap Singh explained the alleged error in the results in a post. “SSC CGL 2024 final results were released on March 13 and it is marred in controversy. For many of the students there has been a huge increase in marks due to normalisation. One of the candidates got 96.7 extra marks than the raw score and there have been many candidates whose marks did not increase at all. How can there be so much difference in marks without any hidden motive? God knows what has happened. But one thing is clear: normalisation is a big scam. All the important exams must be completed in one shift,” he said.
‘Release SSC CGL 2024 final answer key’
Aspirants have started an online campaign on social media with the hashtag ‘final answer key’. A mathematics teacher said in a post on X, “All students have the same demand – SSC CGL 2024 final answer key and marks should be released! We need transparency, not uncertainty! SSC must respond as soon as possible!”
Student activist Hansraj Meena wrote, “We urge the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to immediately release the final answer key of SSC CGL 2024. Transparency and fairness in the selection process are crucial! Lakhs of aspirants' futures must not be compromised!”
Another maths teacher said, “There are many irregularities in the normalization and final result of SSC CGL 2024. And the commission is responsible for all this, the commission is neither concerned about its responsibility nor about the future of the children. SSC should release SSC CGL 2024 Tier-2 final answer key and marks as soon as possible.”
“Discrepancies emerging in SSC CGL 2024 results? Raw marks were too low but after normalisation, their score became dramatically higher. Authorities must release final answer key, give a proper explanation on normalisation, reform the process, and address concerns of students,” said an X user.
Another user wrote, “How long will the future of SSC CGL 2024 candidates be played with? Why the delay in the Final Answer Key after the errors in normalization? SSC should release the Final Answer Key of SSC CGL 2024 Tier-2 as soon as possible! We are demanding our rights!
“The result is prepared on the basis of the final answer key and marks. The result is out, but why delay in the final answer key and marks when the result is already out? Release them now! CGL 2024 aspirants deserve transparency!,” a candidate said in a post.
