SSC invites applications for Young Professional (IT) on contract basis

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for engagement of Young Professional (IT) on contract basis at SSC headquarters. The initial term of engagement will be for a period of one year on a case to case basis.

The post will be on full-time basis and they will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of contract with SSC. There are a total of 5 vacancies for the post.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have a BE, BTech, BCA degree from any recognized college or university with a minimum of 60% marks will be eligible. Knowledge regarding programming, networking, IT, computer hardware and software-related matters is desirable.

Although the contract is for a period of one year, it will be extended by another year based on a satisfactory performance review. The remuneration of Young Professionals (IT) may be increased up to 5%. The remuneration is fixed at Rs 30,000 per month.

The job responsibility will include handling of official communication preferably in English, Hindi, data entry and verification, data validation, reconciliation of validation errors, professional competency in MS-Office.

Preparation of documents, letters and tables, PowerPoint presentations, document conversion and computer file handling, cataloguing, filling, maintenance of files, taking regular backup of data/files on computer, and any other work assigned to them will also be part of scope of work.

“Police verification of the Individual Consultants shall be done as per the latest instructions issued by MHA. In case the police verification is received as negative, the contract of individual consultant shall cease to exist with immediate effect without any notice,” the commission said.
