NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the examination date for the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) and Stenographer recruitment exam 2024 dates today, September 6. Candidates can check the SSC JHT 2024 and stenographer exam schedule through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

As per the schedule, the SSC JHT 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on December 9. The commission will conduct the Stenographer Grade 'C' & 'D' examination from December 10 and 11.

Candidates will have to use their log in credentials such as application number and date of birth or password to download the SSC JHT 2024 admit card. The commission will issue the admit cards 15 days prior to the commencement of the exam.

The SSC JHT 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 312 vacancies for various Group-B non-gazetted posts. The SSC JHT 2024 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October or November 2024. The commission will issue the SSC JHT admit card 7 to 10 days before the exam on the official websites of the respective regions.

The SSC JHT selection process involves:

  1. Paper-I: A computer-based test with objective questions on General Hindi and General English (100 marks each).
  2. Paper-II: A descriptive exam with translation and essay writing in both Hindi and English (200 marks).
  3. Document Verification: Verification of the candidate's documents.
  4. Final Merit List: Based on performance in both papers, candidates are shortlisted.
