SSC allots 585 fixed and 1028 floated seats; document verification and appointment process to be conducted by user department

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination 2025 final result on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. The SSC JE 2025 exam was conducted on July 20 and 21.
A total of 585 applicants have fixed their seats, while 1028 aspirants have floated their seats. A total of 181 fresh allocations have been made against vacancies created due to applicants not reporting for the sliding/identity verification process.
The official notification reads, “Post declaration of the final result of the Examination, further process of Document Verification and appointment formalities of the provisionally allocated candidates will be undertaken by the User Department concerned. If a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the User Department concerned within a period of six months from declaration of the final result, he/she must communicate immediately thereafter with the User Department concerned.”

The final allocation has been done on the basis of candidates' merit, preferred posts submitted by applicants, and the fix or float option chosen during the sliding process.
“No Reserve List/ Waiting List is prepared by the Commission. Vacancies arising out of non-joining of allocated candidates will be carried forward to the subsequent year(s) by the Departments concerned. Final Answer Keys-cum-Response Sheet and detailed marks of the selected/ nonselected candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission in due course," the notice reads further.
