SSC MTS 2024 application status for recruitment exam out; 9,583 vacancies to be filled

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released issued the Multi-Tasking (MTS) and Havaldar exam 2024 application status today, September 17. Candidates who have registered for the MTS (Non-Technical) staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) tier 1 examination 2024 can check the application status link through the official website at ssc.gov.in.

Candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth to log in and check the SSC MTS 2024 application status. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 9,583 vacancies. Of these, 6,144 vacancies are for MTS posts, and 3,439 are for Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN.

As per the schedule, SSC MTS 2024 exam will be conducted from September 30 to November 14 in multiple shifts. The exam will be administered in computer-based test mode in two sessions. Both sessions will be mandatory and will be held on the same day. The exam will be conducted for duration of 45 minutes/ session.

SSC MTS 2024 exam pattern

The SSC MTS 2024 exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The questions will in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages for Session 1 and the General Awareness Section of Session 2. There will be no negative marking in Session 1.

However in Session II, there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The selection process will consist of a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). PET and PST are only for Havaldar's post.
