SSC Phase 12 recruitment closes today at ssc.gov.in; exam from May 6 to 8

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission will close the registration process for the SSC Phase 12 recruitment today on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC is conducting the recruitment process for filling 2,049 posts in various government departments. The computer-based test (CBT) will be from May 6 to 8.

The SSC will open the correction window for candidates for three days i.e. from March 30 to April 1. “The candidates will be allowed to re-submit applications after making requisite corrections or changes in the online application data as per their requirement,” the NTA said. The applicants will have to pay a correction fee of Rs 200 for making corrections and re-submitting modified applications. If a candidate edits his/her application form second time then a fee of Rs 500 will be levied.

The NTA said the correction charges will be applicable to all candidates irrespective of their gender or category. Latest modified application will be treated as the valid one and the previous application submitted by such candidates will be ignored, it added.

SSC recruitment application fee

Students applying for the SSC Phase 12 recruitment process will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. The fee can be paid online only through payment modes such as BHIM UPI, Netbanking and credit or debit card. However, women candidates and applicants belonging to SC, ST PwBD and Exservicemen will not have to pay any fee. Students can make the online fee pay till 11 pm on March 27.

Exam pattern

The students appearing for SSC Phase 12 recruitment will have to attempt 100 questions in four sections – general intelligence, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English. Each section will have 25 questions. The students will get 60 minutes to attempt the entire question paper. Students will be awarded two marks for each correct answer while .50 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
