NEW DELHI: The webinar for students with the Human Resource Development minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will now be conducted on Tuesday, May 5 at 12 noon.

The interaction was earlier scheduled to be held on May 2.

On Friday, the minister notified the change of date through his official Twitter account. “Students, I am hosting a webinar exclusively for you, via my Twitter (@DrRPNishank) & Facebook (@cmnishank) pages. Please join me on 5th May at 12 noon!” he wrote.

The live session aims to address the academic issues and challenges faced by students during the global coronavirus pandemic.

Till the scheduled date, Pokhriyal urged the students to send the questions and suggestions with #EducationMinisterGoesLive hashtag on Twitter.

One for teachers

In an earlier post, the minister also expressed his gratitude towards the teachers working relentlessly for the students during the lockdown. He further informed that a separate live webinar will be conducted specially for the teachers.

The minister, earlier on April 27, addressed the questions of concerned parents related to academics and mental health issues amongst school children.

Since its announcement on Thursday, scores of questions have already been posted on twitter to be addressed in the webinar.

To control the spread of coronavirus, in March all educational institutions were closed down in the country. Major examinations, including board examination, have also been postponed to be conducted after the lifting of lockdown.
