NEW DELHI: The University of East Anglia (UEA) United Kingdom announces a new MSc in Artificial Intelligence, a one-year postgraduate programme. The programme will begin in September 2025. Applicants applying for the MSc in AI course will have access to a scholarship of up to GBP 5000.
The PG programme aims to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in AI. The MSc in Artificial Intelligence programme is optimal for students interested in computing and data science. Applicants can learn more about the course by visiting the official website at uea.ac.uk.
“The programme offers a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of AI techniques and real-world applications, from machine learning and data mining to computer vision and cybersecurity,” the official UEA UK statement said.
The MSc in AI programme curriculum is designed to guide students' in foundation programme such as Python to concepts in AI and ensure students are well equipped by the end of programme.
"Students will be prepared for multiple career option paths, including AI system developers, machine learning engineers, researchers and in various other sectors such as technology, finance and healthcare," the UEA official statement adds.
Students taking up the programme will have access to resources, facilities, and academic knowledge on campus, including research and innovation in healthcare education. The programme promotes critical thinking, teamwork, and personal development, an all-inclusive learning environment for students.
“On the completion of this programme, the course offers job opportunities in the industries as an AI system developer, adaptor or becoming an AI researcher in academic or educational institutes,” the official UEA statement said.
Speaking on the launch of the new programme, Wenjia Wang the professor of Artificial Intelligence at the School of Computing Sciences, UEA said: “Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing industries globally, and at UEA, we are dedicated to providing students with the tools to become the next generation of AI experts. This programme combines rigorous academic learning with real-world applications, ensuring our students are equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in an AI-driven world."
