Supreme Court approves AICTE revised academic calendar 2022-23; Complete schedule here
As per the AICTE revised academic calendar 2022-23, the last date for granting or refusing approval by AICTE has been extended from April 10 to July 10.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has approved the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) revised academic calendar 2022-23 for admission to engineering and other courses. The AICTE pointed out that the academic calendar 2022-23 could not be adhered to due to the third wave of Covid-19.
The bench comprising of Justices L Nageswara Rao and BR Gavai said, “There has been a delay in processing applications, hearing appeals and in making admissions in the last 2 years in view of the pandemic. Periodically, at the request of AICTE last dates according to the schedule fixed by this Court has been extended even for 2021-2022,” the Live Law reported.

As per the AICTE revised academic calendar 2022-23, the last date for granting or refusing approval by AICTE has been extended from April 10 to July 10, 2022. The last date for commencement of classes for existing students of technical courses is September 15, 2022.

The AICTE informed that the last date for grant of approval to institutions offering online course(s) will be as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) policy.
