Try NowNEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu has issued the provisional rank list and round 1 schedule for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes. Candidates who applied for the Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 can check the provisional merit list on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.

As per the counselling schedule, the round 1 registration, fee payment, and choice-filling will commence from August 21. Eligible aspirants will be able to apply, pay fee, and fill choices of colleges and courses before August 27.
Applicants will have to pay Rs 500 for the government quota and Rs 1,000 for the management quota as a non-refundable registration fee. Students will also have to submit a refundable security deposit of Rs 30,000 for government quota seats and Rs 1 lakh for the management quota seats in self-financed medical and dental colleges and state private universities.
The seat allotment result will be declared on August 29. Candidates will be able to download the provisional allotment order between August 30 and September 5 and the last date of joining is September 5.
DMER asked applicants to read the prospectus carefully before applying for the medical admissions and informed that the seat matrix will be made available on the website.
