Anna University extends TANCET, CEETA PG 2026 registration last date to April 15

Anna University: Candidates can apply for CEETA PG and TANCET 2026 on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
Anna University has extended the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission - Postgraduate (CEETA PG) 2026 registration deadline to April 15. Eligible candidates can apply for the TANCET and CEETA PG exam 2026 on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
Anna University will conduct the CEETA PG 2026 on May 10 in a single session from 10 am to 12 noon, while the TANCET 2026 will be held on May 9 in two sessions; the MBA exam from 10 am to 12 noon, and the MCA exam from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu and SC, SCA, and ST categories have to pay Rs 500, and other students have to pay Rs 1,000 as the TANCET and CEET PG application fee 2026.
TANCET, CEETA PG Eligibility Criteria 2026
The eligibility criteria for both TANCET and CEETA PG 2026 entrance exams are as follows:
TANCET 2026 Eligibility
- Candidates must have completed at least 3 years of education and secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
- Students belonging to the reserved category will be given 5% relaxation.

Candidates must fulfil any of the following patterns to apply:
10 + 2 + 3 or 4 years pattern
10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern
B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm
10 + 2 + AMIE
10 + 3 years diploma + AMIE
CEETA PG 2026 Eligibility
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories.
- Eligible with 10+2/10+3 + AMIE and two years of experience.
- GATE qualified and final year candidates can also apply.
- Students with BTech through distance or weekend mode are not eligible.
Anna University conducts TANCET 2026 entrance exam for admission to MBA and MCA courses, whereas CEETA PG is held for ME, MTech, MArch, and MPlanning admissions.
