TAPMI B-School launches PGDM programme in Marketing & Sales

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 20: T. A. Pai Institute of Management (TAPMI) launched a 2-year full-time PGDM programme in Marketing & Sales Management which will be an AICTE approved residential programme.

The program is targeted at people who work in sales & marketing and aims to bridge the demand-supply gap in the market for a fully loaded Sales Management programme. The launch was announced at the BrandScan event, the market research fair conducted by the students of TAPMI. The event was inaugurated by Prof Madhu Veeraraghavan, Director, TAPMI and Prof Simon George, Dean Academics.

BrandScan provides a platform for the students to research on live projects from major companies, by collecting data, analysing, interpreting and providing insights to companies based on the research.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Veeraraghavan said “BrandScan carries the legacy of being the most effective disguised market research in India. The uniqueness of BrandScan is that it serves as a great platform for both classroom learning and direct connect with the industry. More importantly, the idea is to obtain unbiased and natural responses of customers through innovative data collection methods.” Prof George said, “Market Research is the soul or backbone of any Industry and should be considered as a continuous process and not just a one-time activity”

The 26th edition of BrandScan was marked by events like STRINGS & CHORDS, a singing competition; Floor’D, a dance competition; WHY SO SERIOUS, a live mad-ads competition; and ARPEGGIO, a rock band competition. The event concluded on a convivial note reiterating the success and grandeur the annual event has always received.
