Join Careers360 PremiumThe Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET or TS TET) 2025 result has been declared today, July 22. The qualifying candidates will become eligible for applying to teaching posts for Classes 1-8 in Telangana schools. Candidates belonging to the general category need 60% marks to qualify, while Backward Classes (BC) require minimum 50% marks and Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and differently-abled candidates require 40% qualifying marks in the exam.
The TG TET 2025 result can be checked on the official exam portal, tgtet.aptonline.in. Candidates can click on the “TGTET JUN-2025 Result” page, and enter their journal number or hall ticker number. After selecting their applied exam paper and entering the date of birth, candidates can access the exam results.
According to the Government of Telangana, the TG TET 2025 scores would remain valid for life. The TET qualification will not guarantee recruitment as it is one of the eligibility criteria for employment. Candidates will have to appear for the Teacher Recruitment Test, which will give 20% weightage to the score obtained in the TG TET.

TG TET 2025: Examination
TS TET 2025 was conducted in two parts: Paper 1 for Classes 1-5, and Paper 2 for Classes 6-8. Candidates had the option to appear for any of or both of the papers. Exams were conducted in multiple shifts from June 18 till June 30.
Candidates with at least 40% visual and orthopedic disability will be considered under the differently-abled category for TS TET 2025 . For hearing impairment, minimum 75% disability will be considered eligible for the marks relaxation.
