NEW DELHI: The directorate of medical education and research, Tamil Nadu, will today close the registration window for the stray vacancy round of TN National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2023) counselling for undergraduate (UG) programmes.

Candidates will have to register, and complete the choice filling and locking process by 5 PM today on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. Students applying for the choice filling for both medical and dental courses will have to pay Rs 500 non-refundable registration fee for government quota seats and Rs 1,000 for management quota.

Candidates will have to deposit Rs 30, 000 as security amount for opting for government quota seats in self-financing medical and dental colleges, and state private universities. Students belonging to SC, SCA, ST candidates having annual income less than Rs 2.5 lakhs will not have to pay the security deposit. Candidates who have already paid the fees in the previous rounds do not have to submit it again.

The result of the TN NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round will be declared on September 26 and candidates will be able to download the provisional allotment letter from September 27 to 29. They have report the allotted colleges till 3 PM on September 30.

TN NEET UG 2023: Documents required

Candidates will have to send the online application form, along with these documents, to the authorities after the registration process:

  • Mark sheet of class 10, 11, and 12
  • Admit card of NEET 2023
  • NEET 2023 result
  • Transfer certificate
  • Nativity certificate to be submitted by candidates who have partly completed Classes 6 to 12 from outside Tamil Nadu
  • Parent’s certificate as a proof of domicile for candidates who have studied class 6 to 12 from Tamil Nadu
  • Community certificate
  • Duly filled special category form for candidates belonging to categories such as persons with disabilities, sports persons and ex-servicemen
