TNTET Application Form 2019 Begins in Online Mode; Apply Till April 5

NEW DELHI, MARCH 16: Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu has released the application form of TNTET 2019 in online mode. Candidates can fill the application form till April 5. Only those candidates can fill the application form who have acquired 50% marks in their graduation.
To fill the application form, the candidates must visit the official website of the examination authority - http://trb.tn.nic.in/ and click on the application form link.
Before filling TNTET application form 2019 , candidates must keep various documents like scanned copy of their passport size photograph, scanned copy of the signature, bank details etc. ready with themselves. Candidates must also have an active mobile number and a valid email ID.
Along with the application form, candidates must also pay the prescribed application fee determined by the examination authority. Candidates belonging to the General category must pay the application fee of Rs. 500 while those who belong to the reserved category must pay the application fee of Rs. 250. All those candidates who successfully fill the application form along with the payment of application fee within the allotted time frame will be issued the admit card for the test.
TNTET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as teachers in classes 1 to 8 in the schools run by the state government of Tamil Nadu only. The exam is held for two papers - paper I and II. The test of paper I is conducted for those who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 while those who wish to become teachers from 6 to 8 must appear for paper II.
