NEW DELHI: Several private engineering colleges offer admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes based on Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025) scores or conduct their own entrance exams. Some private engineering colleges also admit students directly through management quotas or based on merit.

The NTA announced the JEE Main 2025 session 1 result on February 11. The JEE Main 2025 registration process for the session 2 exam is underway and the last date to register for the exam is February 25, 2025. Engineering aspirants can register for the JEE main 2025 session 2 through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates seeking admission to private engineering colleges can apply for JEE Main 2025 session 2 as many institutes consider JEE Main score for college admission.

Some private universities, such as Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore, and SRM Institute of Science and Technology, conduct their own entrance exams to offer admission.

Engineering institutes offer admission to BTech programmes across various disciplines, including computer science and engineering (CSE), electronics and communication engineering (ECE), mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI & ML), and information technology (IT).
