NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will conduct TS EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test) 2022 with only 70% syllabus for both first and second year intermediate, as per a Telangana Today report.
The Council has taken the decision as a sufficient number of offline classes could not be conducted during 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the report said. The council held a meeting on Monday, March 8.

Last year, TSCHE reduced the second year intermediate syllabus by 30% whereas 100% syllabus was considered for first year intermediate, the reason being disruption of offline classes with the onset of pandemic.
In addition to this, the Council was also expected to decide in the meeting upon the relaxation on the requirement of minimum marks in intermediate to be eligible for admission to various courses through the TS EAMCET 2022, the report said. Last year, the Council announced a relaxation on 45% marks however it was applicable for 2021 only. Currently, only 45% aggregate marks are required to be declared pass, it added.
