The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has concluded the TS Intermediate 1st, 2nd year Mathematics, Botany and Political Science board exams 2026 on March 2. The exam was held from 9 am to 12 noon. TS Inter 2nd Year Board 2026 Exam LIVE
The exams were held for Mathematics-IA, Botany-I, and Political Science-I, with 96.54% of the registered candidates appearing. Out of 5,50,563 registered students, 5,31,782 attended the exam, while 18,781 were absent. Only one malpractice case was reported, and board observers monitored centres in Rangareddy, Medchal, and Hyderabad to ensure smooth conduct.
TGBIE, Hyderabad, has conducted the draw of lots for the question papers of the IPE scheduled for February/March 2026. The draw was held for First Year (Part-III) subjects, including Mathematics Paper–IA, Botany Paper–I and Political Science Paper–I. Following the official procedure, Set B was selected as the final question paper set for these subjects.
The board has advised students to take their school ID card at the examination centre. No student will be allowed to enter the hall after the exam begins at 9 am.
Only basic stationery such as blue, black ballpoint pens, pencils, erasers, and a ruler are allowed inside the exam centre.
Students are advised to report at their respective exam centres at 8:30 am. The TSBIE will distribute the TS Intermediate 1st, 2nd year Mathematics, Botany and Political Science ready paper, OMR filling sheet from 8:45 am to 9 am.
The TS Inter Mathematics, Botany and Political Science board exams 2026 begins, today at 9 am. After the exam, teachers and subject experts will share the TS Inter 2026 question paper analysis.
As per the exam day guidelines, students are advised to reach the respective exam centres at 8:30 am and will be given 15 minutes to fill out the OMR sheet.
To take the TS Intermediate 2026 exam, candidates should score at least 35% in each course. This basic qualifying standard applies to all courses, including language papers.
Students will be allowed to enter the exam halls with a valid TS Inter hall ticket. No additional permission or principal’s signature is required to enter, the board clarified recently. For the first time, the TS Inter hall tickets have been issued with a QR code to help guide students to their exam centre.
Students have to report by 8 am, one hour before the exam begins. The board has installed CCTV cameras in all 1,495 centres, integrated into a Command Control Room with 31 screens and a video wall at the TGBIE headquarters. Around 7,500 cameras are being used for supervision.
Flying squads and district-level high-power committees led by Collectors and SPs have been constituted to prevent malpractice. Xerox centres near exam halls will remain closed during exam hours. The board has warned that criminal cases will be registered in cases of copying or impersonation.
