TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Phase 1 web option entry begins for 3, 5 years LLB courses

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has commenced the web option entry process for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) counselling 2024 today, August 27. Eligible candidates who registered for the TS LAWCET counselling 2024 can exercise the web options entry through the official website, lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in.

Candidates will have to enter their TS LAWCET hall ticket number and rank to log in and exercise the web option entry process. The deadline to exercise web options entry is tomorrow, August 27. During this period, candidates can select their preferred courses and institutes through the official website.

The TS LAWCET web options edit window will be available for one day on August 29. During this time, candidates can modify their preferences. The institute will prepare a college-wise list of provisionally selected candidates based on their scores and preferences and will publish it on the official website on August 31, 2024.

Candidates are required to report to their respective colleges for verification of original certificates from September 2 to September 6, 2024. The certificate verification will be conducted based on the scanned copies of original documents uploaded by the candidates. “In case of any doubt, enquiry will be done over the phone to establish the veracity and correctness of documents. Hence, candidates are required to respond to the phone calls of the verification officer,” the official notice read.

TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Documents required

Candidates can check the list of documents required during the TS LAWCET counselling 2024. Candidates must submit two sets of attested copies of all certificates at their respective colleges—one set for the Convener's office. The Transfer Certificate (TC) should be submitted during the college fee payment after the final phase.

• TS LAWCET 2024 rank card

• Memorandum of marks of SSC or equivalent

• Memorandum of marks of intermediate or equivalent

• Memorandum of marks in qualifying examination (Intermediate marks memo for LLB 5-year

• course, degree consolidate marks memo (CMM) for LLB 3-year course and LLB marks memo for 2-year LLM course.)

• Provisional or degree certificate of qualifying examination. Candidates who have pursued degree outside Telangana state are required to submit equivalence certificate from any of the universities in Telangana.

• Migration certificate, if applicable

• Study certificates from Class 5 to graduation

• Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination

• Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

• Employer certificate for candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this state or central government, public sector corporations, local bodies, universities and other similar quasi public institutions within the state

• Transfer certificate.

• Community certificate

• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) certificate, if applicable.

Qualified and eligible candidates of the TG LAWCET-2024 examination should submit their original certificates for online verification. This process is necessary for web-based counselling for admission into the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) 3-year course and the integrated LLB 5-year degree courses for the academic year 2024-25.
