NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will commence the registration for Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) counselling 2024 tomorrow, August 5, for admission to three-year and five-year LLB programmes. Eligible aspirants will apply for TS LAWCET 2024 counselling on the official website, lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in.

As per the counselling schedule, the last date to register for law admissions is August 20. The physical verification of special category certificates will be conducted from August 7 to 10.

TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria for three-year and five-year LLB programmes are as follows:

  • Candidate should be of Indian nationality.
  • Candidate should satisfy the local or non-local status requirement.

3-year LLB

  • Candidates should have a graduation degree of a recognized university or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the universities concerned with 45% of aggregate marks (42% for OBC category and 40% for SC/ST). If any candidate secured less than 45%, 42% and 40% respectively in graduation as stated above, he should have secured same percentage or more on the aggregate in any post graduation or BEd.
  • Candidates who have passed degree examination by single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the degree through open university directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible.

5-year LLB

  • Candidate should have passed two year intermediate examination (with 10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks (42% for OBC category and 40% for SC/ST) or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the university concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, TS or AP.
  • Applicants who have obtained Class 12 or graduation / post graduation through open universities without having any basic qualification (SSC) are not eligible for admission into LLB courses.
