NEW DELHI: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana Council for Higher Education (TGCHE) will conduct the Telangana Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET 2024) starting today, June 10. The TS PGCET 2024 exam is scheduled from June 10 to June 13.

The TS PGECET 2024 exam will be held in two shifts- morning and afternoon. The TS PGECET 2024 morning session will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, while the second session will be conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Candidates are required to carry their TS PGECET 2024 admit card along with a valid photo Id such as Aadhar card, Pan card, voter Id card, to the exam centre for verification.

TS PGECET 2024 exam pattern and marking scheme

The TS PGECET 2024 exam will be held online in computer-based mode. The medium of the TS PGECET 2024 is English. The TS PGECET 2024 exam will consist of 120 questions. There will be two sections- mathematics and one subject chosen by the candidate. The paper will only have multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

  • Ensure your latest passport-sized, colored photograph is affixed to the admit card.
  • Carry the admit card and a valid original photo identity proof to the test centre during the test. Accepted photo identity proofs include passport, driving license, Voter ID Card, PAN card, aadhar Card (UID), and college ID card.
  • Prohibited items in the test hall include cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators, memory, or any electronic or smart devices.
  • Candidates are not permitted to leave the test hall until the completion of the test. Once the test is submitted, re-entry into the test hall is not allowed.
  • Any attempt at impersonation or malpractice identified at any stage of the admission process will result in the disqualification of the candidate and may lead to appropriate legal action.
  • Candidates arriving late to the test centre will not be allowed to enter once the gates are closed, regardless of the reason.
