NEW DELHI: Osmania University has begun the registration process for the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET 2024) at telanganaset.org. Eligible candidates should fill out the TS SET 2024 application form by July 2 without late fee.

As per the schedule, the TS SET 2024 exam will be held from August 28 to 31. The exam will be conducted in general studies and 29 subjects in computer-based test (CBT) mode in ten districts of Telangana. The institute will open the form correction window for two days on July 28 and 29. Candidates will be able to download the TS SET 2024 admit card from August 20.

Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2,000 to register for the TS SET 2024. For backward class (BC) and economically weaker section (EWS) category candidates, the application fee is Rs 1,500. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), visually handicapped (VH), hearing impaired (HI), orthopedically handicapped (OH) and transgender category will have to pay Rs 1,000.

TS SET 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for TS SET 2024 given below.

  • Candidates should hold a master’s degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks. Candidates from reserved categories will get a realisation of 5%.

  • The candidates who are pursuing their master’s degree course or the candidates who have appeared for their qualifying master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.

  • Candidates who hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and whose master’s level examination had been completed by September 19, 1991, shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in SET.
