The Department of School Education has issued the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) admit cards for the January 2026 exam. Candidates appearing for the Telangana TET 2026 eligibility exam will have to download their hall ticket available on the official website, tgtet.aptonline.in.
The TGTET January 2026 exam will be conducted over a span of nine days in 15 sessions between January 3 to 20. The exam will be held as a computer based test (CBT) in two shifts on each day – morning session from 9 am to 11.30 am and afternoon session from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
TS TET paper 1 will be conducted for teaching Classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for teaching posts in classes 6 to 8.
The Supreme Court has made the TET qualification mandatory for all in-service and aspiring candidates. In this regard, the department said: “All in-service Teachers working in Government, Local Authority and Private (Aided and Unaided) management Schools are permitted to appear for TGTET conducted by the State government or CTET conducted by the Central Government.” The validity period of a TET certificate is for lifetime.
Candidates facing trouble while downloading the TS TET hall ticket have been instructed to contact the director of SCERT and ex-officio director TGTET Hyderabad between 10.30 am to 5 pm from December 28 to 30, in person only.
The TS TET results will be declared between February 10 to 16.
