NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked the higher educational institutions to encourage students to participate in the competitions to be organised on January 23 on the occasion of Parakram Diwas which is the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The winners of the competitions will be invited to the Republic Day 2023 parade.
The Ministry of Defence is organising the competitions on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Students can apply through MyGov. The last date to apply for the competitions is January 20, 2023. The best 25 entries will be given a cash prize of Rs 5,000 each.

The four competitions and their websites are as follows:
“The birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, 23rd January is observed as Parakram Diwas. This year, it has been decided to organize special competitions for school and university students on the occasion through MyGov, and invite the winners to attend the Republic Day parade,” said UGC in an official notification.
“Winners will also get an opportunity to visit the Republic Day parade. Travel and lodgings will be provided to the winners,” UGC added.
