NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET 2020 answer key for the remaining 26 NET Subjects (Hindi in 02 shifts) which were conducted between November 4 and November 13. The last date to challenge the NTA UGC NET 2020 provisional answer key is November 18 till 6:00 p.m. Earlier, NTA had released UGC NET 2020 answer key for exams held from September 24 to October 17, 2020.

How to Challenge UGC NET 2020 Answer Key?

To raise challenges in the official UGC NET answer keys follow the below given steps:

Step 1 - First and foremost candidates need to visit the official website of UGC NET 2020

Step 2 - Now click on the tab which says “view question paper/ Challenge answer key

Step 3 - A new page will open where the candidate has to enter the application number of UGC NET 2020, date of birth and the security pin visible on the screen

Step 4 - After clicking on the login tab candidate’s information page will be displayed on the screen

Step 5 - Now Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses and in order to view or challenge the UGC NET 2020 Answer keys, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”

Step 6- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA. The Dropped Questions are highlighted and they cannot be challenged

Step 7 - Candidates will now get to see UGC NET 2020 questions in sequential order

Step 8 - The Id next to the UGC NET question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ is for correct answer key which will be used by NTA.

Step 9 - If the candidate wishes to challenge this option, they can use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking on the check box given in the UGC NET 2020 provisional answer key

Step 10 - Once the candidate has clicked on the desired option, scroll down, ‘Save your Claims’ and move to next screen.

Step 11 - Candidates will get an opportunity to see what the option IDs which they have challenged in the UGC NET 2020 provisional answer key

Step 12 - Now the candidates will have to upload supporting documents in which they have to select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).

Step 13 - Now click on the save ‘Save your Claims and pay fee.’ If the candidate wants to modify their claims they will have to click on the tab ‘Modify your Claims’.

Step 14 - Once the candidate has saved the claims they would get to see the screen displying the responses that have been challenged

Step 15 - Now pay the fees depending on the number of challenges made

Step 16 - Choose the mode of payment of fees which can be done either through debit card, credit card or net banking

Step 17 - If the challenge is found to be correct then the money will be refunded to the candidate

What after the UGC NET 2020 Answer key?

NTA will soon the relase the UGC NET 2020 result along with the final answer key. All the candidates who qualify the UGC NET 2020 exam, they will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both, in Indian universities and colleges. This year the UGC NET exam was conducted only once due to Covid 19 pandemic.
