UGC NET 2024 application fee payment window closes today; correction facility from May 21

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 application fee payment window today, May 20. Candidates who have registered for the exam can pay the UGC NET 2024 application fee by visiting the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted on June 18. The examination will be held for 83 subjects in OMR (pen and paper) format. The exam will be conducted for three categories including award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor’, appointment as assistant professor and for admission to PhD and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.

Candidates will have a chance to edit their already submitted UGC NET 2024 application form. The UGC NET 2024 correction window will be open from May 21 to 23. The UGC NET 2024 correction window will allow candidates to edit their personal details, academic qualifications, exam city preferences and upload photos.

UGC NET 2024 Registration: Application fee

Candidates will have to pay the UGC NET 2024 application fee to complete the registration process. The registration fee for UGC NET 2024 is Rs 1,150 for general applicants and Rs 600 for other backward classes (OBC-NCL). On the other side, the UGC NET 2024 application fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Transgender applicants is Rs 325.
