As per candidates’ post on X, many candidates were allotted to remote locations like SDSN Inter College in Devari, near Lucknow, where they faced a lack of basic amenities and inadequate facilities. In addition, candidates raised concerns about the overall examination process, questioning the absence of carbon copies in OMR sheets and the transparency of the system.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Issues: Inadequate facilities, belongings missing
Candidates have raised concerns regarding the UGC NET exam center allocation. They expressed frustration about being sent to a remote village near Lucknow for the exam, specifically SDSN Inter College in Devari, which lacked basic amenities such as proper washrooms and desks. Additionally, the route to the center was problematic, and the facility for storing bags was poorly managed, resulting in several candidates losing their belongings.
UGC NET 2024: Transparency issues
Candidates have expressed concerns about the UGC NET exam process. They highlighted issues with the NEET and NET exams, particularly the lack of carbon copies in OMR-based answer sheets, which are essential for future references and claims. This lack of carbon sheets has led to suspicions and doubts about the transparency and reliability of the examination process.
“Hi, UGC NET_JUNE24' Aspirants, Did u notice that today's OMR sheet was carbon copy less? Doesn't it mean that a candidate will never-ever be able to claim what he/she has really done on the original sheet? Isn't it stinking fraudulent?,” a X post read.
