UGC NET 2024 registration closing tomorrow; correction facility from May 13

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 registration tomorrow, May 10. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the UGC NET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The NTA has postponed the UGC NET 2024 exam. As per the revised date, UGC NET 2024 exam will now be held on June 18 instead of June 16. The postponement decision was taken due to the clashing of UGC NET with UPSC prelims exams. UGC-NET 2024 exam will be conducted for 83 subjects in OMR (pen and paper) format.

The last date to submit the UGC NET 2024 application form is May 10 but candidates will be able to pay the registration fee till May 12. Candidates will get a chance to edit their already submitted application form. The NTA will open the UGC NET 2024 application correction window from May 13 to May 15. Candidates will be able to edit their personal details, academic qualification, exam city preferences and scanned photos.

UGC NET 2024 application fee

Candidates are required to pay UGC NET 2024 application fee to complete the registration process. The UGC NET 2024 registration fee is Rs 1,150 for candidates belonging to the General and Rs 600 for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL). On the other hand, the UGC NET 2024 application fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Transgender candidates is Rs 325.
