NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 24: National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release the official answer key of UGC NET 2018 for December session. As per the media reports, an Official from NTA confirmed that the answer key of UGC NET will be declared by December 31, 2018. The answer key will be available for three to four days within which candidates must download the answer key. Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to download the answer key by visiting the official website of the examination authority - https://www.nta.ac.in/ and click on the answer key download link. The answer key will be available for all the sets of questions that were provided to the candidates on the exam day.

UGC NET answer key 2018 will contain all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. By going through it, candidates will be able to calculate their expected marks and predict their probability to qualify the exam.

The examination authority will also make provision to raise objections in case of discrepancies in the answer key. To challenge the answer key, candidates will have to send an email with the details of their grievances and pay Rs. 1000/- to raise objection per question. After the scrutiny of the answer key the examination authority will release the final answer key on the basis of which the result will be declared on January 10, 2019.

For the first time, UGC NET exam for December session was conducted by NTA in online mode. The exam was conducted from December 18 to 22, 2018 to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professor and awarding Junior Research Fellowship Programme (JRF). About 1.8 lakh candidates registered for the exam in which around 63% candidates appeared on the first day of UGC NET exam for December session.
