NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2023) exam today. Candidates can download the UGC NET admit card 2023 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
NTA will be conducting exam for over 30 subjects today, February 21, 2023. The UGC NET phase-1 exams will be held from February 21 to 24, 2023. UGC NET phase-2 exam dates are yet to be announced. The candidates can check the entire UGC NET syllabus 2023 at UGC's official website- ugc.ac.in.

Candidates are required to carry their UGC NET admit card 2023 along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre. The candidates must also reach the UGC NET exam centre 90 minutes before the exam begins. The UGC NET exam will be held in two shifts- first shift from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM; second shift from 3.00 PM to 06.00 PM.

The UGC NET exam is held twice a year. Candidates are awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and or eligibility for assistant professorship based on the aggregate performance of the candidates in both paper-1 and paper-2. The UGC NET cut off 2023 for the general category is 40% whereas for the reserved category is 35%. UGC NET is conducting the UGC NET December 2022 in the month of February & March 2023 in 83 subjects.
