UGC NET June 2024 registration deadline extended again, apply by May 19

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has again extended the last date to apply for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Candidates will now be able to fill out the UGC NET application form 2024 by May 19.

Candidates who have not applied yet can fill out the UGC NET application form 2024 through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. NTA has also extended the last date to make payment of the UGC NET 2024 application form. Candidates can now pay the UGC NET June 2024 application fee by May 20.

Earlier the last date to fill out the application was May 10 which was later extended to May 15. Along with that the NTA has revised the application correction dates for UGC NET June 2024. Now, the correction window will open from May 21 to May 23 for three days. Candidates will be able to edit their personal details, academic qualifications, exam city preferences and scanned photos.

“Candidates can make Corrections in the details submitted by them in their Application Forms Online through the Correction window at ugcnet.nta.ac.in during the period when the correction, editing window is made live,” said NTA in an official notice.

The UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 18. The exam will be conducted for three categories including award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor’, appointment as assistant professor and for admission to PhD and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.
