UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Date Time LIVE: NTA response sheet soon for JRF, PhD admissions; objection window

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 provisional answer key soon on its official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have to enter their login credentials such as application number and date of birth or password to access and download the UGC NET provisional answer key and response sheet.

Along with the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key, the NTA will also issue subject-wise answer key, candidates individual response sheet, recorded responses, question papers, and answer key challenge window.

Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET June 2026 examination, held from June 22 to 30 for 87 subjects, will be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key by paying a requisite fee of Rs 200 per objection.

As per the guidelines, if the testing agency accepts a challenge raised by a candidate, the final answer key will be revised accordingly. The NTA will prepare the UGC NET 2026 June final answer key on the basis of objections raised by the candidates.

The NTA conducts the UGC NET examination twice every year for candidates seeking Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), admission to PhD courses, and recruitment to assistant professor posts.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to access and download the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key.

• Go to the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
• On the home page, scroll down and then click on the “UGC NET June 2026 answer key“ link.
• A new window will open.
• Enter login details such as application number and password.
• Press the submit icon.
• UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key will appear on the screen.

The UGC NET examination is conducted twice every year-in June and December-to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admission to PhD programmes.
