NEW DELHI: University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 results for the June session will be announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET June 2024 scorecard through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET 2024 was held from August 21 to September 5, 2024, and more than 9 lakh students appeared for the exams.
NTA will issue the UGC NET June 2024 scorecard and cut-offs along with the result on the official website. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and password to access the result.
Several candidates, concerned about the disruption in PhD admissions for 2024, have been urging UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar to announce the UGC NET 2024 result date. An advocate, representing the concerns of many aspirants awaiting the UGC NET 2024 result, has called on the chiefs of the UGC and the NTA to announce the NET June result 2024 without delay.
“I write to you today with a deep sense of responsibility on behalf of countless students who find themselves in a state of distress due to the continued delay in the declaration of the UGC NET results. As their voice, I feel compelled to bring to your attention the mounting hardships they are facing, with the hope that immediate action will be taken to rectify this situation,” the SC advocate said earlier in a letter addressed to UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will determine the UGC NET 2024 cut-off based on several factors, including the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, and trends from previous years' cut-offs.
Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for the positions of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

The results of the UGC NET re-examination conducted on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, 4, and 5 are awaited. Candidates will be able to check their marks online at ugcnet.nta.ac.in after the official announcement.
