NEW DELHI: Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will today interact with the students across India through social media platforms, Twitter and Facebook.
In a promotional video for the event, he hinted that the might also announce the new dates for the Joint Entrance Examination Main, or JEE Main 2020, and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2020. The JEE Main for engineering has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. NEET 2020 for admission to medicine.
HRD Ministry has asked students to submit their queries and various concerns around coronavirus lockdown using #EducationMinisterGoesLive on the social media platforms.
HRD Minister will be holding the second webinar today. During his first webinar held on April 27 with parents and students, he discussed their various regarding the academic future, mental health, and other issues faced by students.
Pokhriyal announced on twitter about addressing concerns among students related to examinations delay, closure of schools and colleges and their future.
Due to the ongoing lockdown in the country since March 25, academic activities of all the educational institutions have been put on hold to control the spread of coronavirus disease.
