UG Admission 2023 Live: CUET result; updates on DU, BHU admission process, eligibility, category wise seats
Universities, colleges admitting on the basis of CUET UG 2023 scores have started announcing admission schedules. Here's the latest on BHU, DU and AMU admission, dates, websites, new courses and more.

NEW DELHI: With the declaration of Class 12 results and the academic year 2023-24 about to start, universities and colleges have started opening the application process for undergraduate admissions. While the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has already started the UG application process, the University of Delhi (DU) is yet to announce a date of undergraduate admission registration start date.
However, Delhi University has announced some changes to its admission policy. Several new central universities are starting admissions this year including Sindhu Central University and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya.
Some of the best-knowns universities and colleges will admit students on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test or CUET UG 2023 scores. BHU while announcing the UG admission registration date, said that the university will reopen the application window to update CUET scores after the declaration of CUET result. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will have no role beyond declaring CUET exam results. The preparation of merit list for UG admission as well as broader admission policies will be decided by each university. The central universities and all colleges affiliated to them will admit via the CUET with the exception of some courses at Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The central universities in the northeastern states are also exempt.
The colleges and universities have been provided the authority to frame their own eligibility criteria and design admission guidelines. All the universities will follow different admission criteria to admit students to their undergraduate programmes.
