UG Admission 2023 Live: CUET result; updates on DU, BHU admission process, eligibility, category wise seats

Elphinstone College, Mumbai, will issue the first merit list for UG admission 2023 to four-year arts, science, commerce, IT and biotechnology programmes today. Online registration ended yesterday. Document verification is from June 8 to June 10. The second merit list will be out on Sunday. 

The NTA has released the CUET PG admit card 2023 for June 9-11 exams at cuet.nta.nic.in.

What are stream codes? In UG admission applications, candidates have to fill in what stream they studied in Class 11 and 12 in schools - typically, arts, science and commerce. However, to simplify the process, universities and colleges may assign numbered or alphabet codes to the streams. Candidates should be able to find the arts, commerce, science stream codesin the admission prospectus. 

Patna University will publish the first merit list for 4-year undergraduate programmes. Principals of Patna College, Patna Science College, Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, Magadh Mahila College were requested to form their own admission committees and conduct counselling from June 9 to 13. 

Cotton University UG Admission 2023 process has begun for BSc, BA and BCA. The admission is for the four-year programme and from this year, admission will be through CUET UG 2023 result scores. The website for UG admissions is admissions.cottonuniversity.ac.in.

"Aided colleges" are institutions established by the private sector but funded by the government, typically state governments. These colleges typically have to follow government regulations on teacher appointments, salaries, fees and other aspects of education administration. Colleges that are entirely private - that is, not supported by the government - are "self-financed colleges" or "independent colleges". 

Two new central universities are starting admission this year -- the Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya in Gujarat and the Sindhu Central Universiy, Ladakh. However, most of the courses offered are not going to admit through CUET. 

Gati Shakti University will offer 5 BTech programmes with specialisation in rail engineering, transportation and logistics: 

• BTech in Civil Engineering
• BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering
• BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• BTech in Electrical Engineering
• BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Admissions are now open for 2023 at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya - a central university under the Ministry of Railways, GoI.

United University Prayagraj admissions are open for UG and PG programmes which include BTech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, LLB, MBA, M.Com and others. The BHU UG admission 2023 registration process is now going on and candidates can apply till June 26. The registration link is available at bhu.ac.in.

Patna University UG admission 2023 last date was June 5. However, the online portal for admission in the UG programme is open on June 6 for choice filling for those applicants who have submitted the complete application form but could not fill in their choices.

Delhi University has rejigged norms for UG admission under ECA and sports quota. The two categories now will be given 2.5 percent supernumerary seats each. Read More
