University of Strathclyde opens admissions for MSc in Cancer Therapies, offers scholarships worth Rs 9 lakh

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow has started applications for admission to its MSc in Cancer Therapies programme. Eligible graduates can apply for the postgraduate course through the official website at strath.ac.uk. The multi-faceted course is designed for students seeking experience in the range of topics essential to the understanding and development of cancer therapies.

The MSc in Cancer Therapies course curriculum includes cancer biology, drug discovery, formulation and delivery with radiation biology, according to an official statement.

“Students will also gain an understanding of the practical, ethical and economic implications of personalised cancer therapy,” the university said.

MSc in Cancer Therapies: Eligibility, Scholarships

Moreover, the university will conduct a webinar on May 11, 2026 at 14:00 UK time on the overview of the MSc in Cancer Therapies programme. Students will have the opportunity to ask department staff and the admissions team during the Q and A session. The webinar link will be available on the university’s official website.

As per the eligibility criteria, students must have a minimum second-class (2.2) honours degree or international equivalent in a science or health-related subject to be eligible for the PG course.

“Students with alternative entry standards or professional experience may also be considered and are usually admitted in the first instance to the diploma course. Upon satisfactory completion of all Semester 1 assessment, these students will be offered the chance to transfer to the MSc programme. English language minimum score of IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5),” the university said.

The course fee for the MSc in Cancer Therapies for international students is approximately Rs 40,84,992 (£32,900) for the academic year 2026-27.

In addition, the university also offers a Faculty of Science International Excellence Scholarships for Postgraduate Taught Masters students worth Rs 8,69,147( £7,000) to Rs 9,93,311 (£8,000) for September 2026 entry.
