University of Leeds opens admissions for one-year MSc in AI for business; classes from September 2026

The University of Leeds has started the admission process for its MSc in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for business for Indian students. Those eligible can apply for the MSc programme in AI for business through the official website at courses.leeds.ac.uk.

The twelve-month postgraduate programme will equip students with advanced AI expertise and business strategy skills to lead digital transformation across industries, according to an official press release.

The course is designed for students who want to harness the power of AI to solve complex business challenges, the university said.

“Blending advanced AI concepts with real-world business applications, the course prepares graduates to thrive at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation,” it added.

MSc in AI for Business: Eligibility, Scholarships

As per the eligibility criteria, students must have a three or four-year bachelor’s degree with first class or equivalent strong academic background. Candidates from all disciplines are eligible to apply for the MSc in AI for business programme.

“As grading systems vary across Indian institutions, applicants are also required to provide an official grading scale from their awarding institution as part of the application process, to support accurate assessment of academic performance,” the university said.

The classes for the one-year MSc programme will run from September 2026. Students must also have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any component or equivalent qualification to be eligible for the MSc course at the University of Leeds.

The tuition fee for the MSc in sustainability and business course at the University of Leeds is approximately Rs 38,85,520 (£33,000), according to an official statement.

Moreover, the university has also offered around Rs 7.5 lakh (£6,000) as International Masters Regional Scholarships for all Indian students.

“International Excellence Scholarship for Indian Students - 500 awards with up to a 50% fee reduction available for international students,” it said.

Students postgraduating from MSc AI for Business will be able to find career opportunity in high-growth sectors where AI and business strategy converge, the university said.

They will be eligible for roles such as AI business consultant, data & analytics manager, digital transformation specialist, product manager (AI-driven solutions), strategy and innovation lead, business intelligence analyst.
