Uttar  Pradesh students expecting their UPMSP Result 2024 have been contacted by online fraudsters who promised they could get students' marks increased or ensure they pass against payment. The UPMSP caution students against such fraud via a public notice.

Last year, more than 25 lakh participated in the Class 12 exam 2023 which includes 15,48,434 boys and 12,20,824 girls. The overall pass percentage was 75.52%. Girls outperformed boys with the pass percentage of 83% while that for boys was 69.34%.

The Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education or Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is the largest state board in the country with the most students under it. However, the UP government is veering away from it, electing to set up a different type of schools that are not affiliated to the state board but the central one. The Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education is better known as the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). It is the largest school education exam board in the country, holding assessments for upward of 50 lakh examinees each year. Once cheating cases were rampant but that has reduced since a change in policy and increased surveillance from 2018. Earlier, some students got calls from cyber fraudsters who were claiming to increase their marks and pass them in UP board 12th exam 2024. The UPMSP warned students and their parents not to pay any penny to such fraudsters and inform the district school inspector in case they receive such phone calls.

The UP Board official website is not "upmsp education in" but upmsp.edu.in. Results will also be available on upresults.nic.in and several private websites. UPMSC and up.nic.in are not for UP board results 2024. Students who find their results on private website first would do well to cross-check their results on official UP board websites.

The board has set minimum criteria to pass the intermediate exams. Each student need to score at least 33% in all mandatory subjects and in aggregate to achieve passing certificate from UP board.
