UP Board Class 10, 12 Result 2024: UPMSP declares results in record time, girls perform better than boys
The overall passing percentage of UP Class Inter result 2024 registered an increase of 6.08% while UPMSP Class 10 board exam result dropped by 0.23%.

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) today declared the UP Classes 10 and 12 2024 result for around 55 lakh students in record time on the official websites, upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. Last year, the UP board declared the UPMSP Classes 10th and 12th results on April 27.
As per the UPMSP data, 89.78% students passed the UP class 10 board exams 2024 this year, a drop of .23% from the last year’s overall pass percentage. This year 29,47,311 students registered for the exam. Girls maintained their dominance in the Class 10 result as 93.34% cleared the exam while only 86.64% boys cleared the examination. A total of 1,84,986 students didn’t appear for the UP Class 10 board exams.
In the UPMSP board Class 12 examination , 25,77,997 students had registered for the examination. Of these 1,30,022 students didn’t appear for the examination. The examination was cleared by 82,60% students – 88.42% girls and 77.78% boys. Last year, 75.52% of the 27,68,180 students passed the UP Intermediate board exam.
Top performing districts
Bhadohi district recorded the highest passing percentage in the UP Class 10 board exams among all the 75 districts of the state. It was followed by Prayagraj (95.51%), Gautam Buddh Nagar (95.11%), Agra (94.98%) and Kanpur Nagar (98.38%). Lalitpur was the only district which recorded passing percentage below 80%. Only 77.50% students cleared the examination in the district. Other low-performing districts were Sonbhadra (81.66%), Kheri (81.84%), Banda Rai Bareli (83.46%). A total of 30 districts registered 90 above passing percentage.
UP results first time on April 20
This the first time that the board has declared the UP Class 10 and 12 result on April 20. The UP High School and Intermediate board exams were held from February 22 to March 9, following which the evaluation process was completed in record time of 12 days from A total of 1.47 lakh examiners checked 1.76 crore answer sheets of UP High School board exam and around 1.25 crore answer sheets.
