NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will reduce the UP Board syllabus for the academic session 2020-21. As per IndiaTV news, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Dinesh Sharma said that the Board’s syllabus will be minimised as the Coronavirus situation in UP has affected this academic year.

The report also said that the discussion of reducing the UP Board syllabus is going on. The final decision in regard to the reduction of the UP Board syllabus 2020-21 will be made after suggestions of all the concerned departments.

In addition to this, the detailed information about the same will be intimated to the students once the final decision is made.

Earlier, CBSE Board revised the syllabus 2020-21. The decision to revise the curriculum has been made due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic which has seen a huge loss of classroom teaching.

Coming to the State Boards, Rajasthan Board is all set to reduce the RBSE syllabus 2020-21. The State Education Minister, Govind Singh Dotsara tweeted that the Board will be minimising the RBSE syllabus for this year.
