UP DElEd 2024: Selection process

The selection for DElEd training for 2024 and upcoming training will be based on merit. The merit list will be prepared by calculating the total percentage of marks obtained in high school, intermediate, and graduate examinations as mentioned in the application submitted by the candidates.

The selection process will be carried out in a prioritized manner based on categories. In calculating the percentage, the scores of each examination will be rounded off to two decimal places.

In cases where two candidates from the same category have equal scores, the candidate with the higher age will be given preference. If both the scores and ages are the same, preference will be given based on the alphabetical order of the candidates' names.

Candidates who secure a place in the merit list will have their state ranks determined, which will be published on the official website. The state ranks of the candidates will serve as the basis for selection.
