Candidates who appeared for the written examination will be able to check their normalised score and total marks, including marks awarded for preferential qualifications.
UPPRPB said the scores will be made available through a link on its website in the last week of October 2026. A separate notice will be issued explaining the process to access the scores.
UP Home Guard recruitment process
As per the notice, the recruitment drive received 25,32,196 online applications. The written examination was conducted on April 25, 26 and 27, 2026, in six shifts across 74 districts.
Since the examination was held in multiple shifts, candidates' marks were normalised as per the applicable government rules. Marks for preferential qualifications supported by the documents submitted with the applications were also added while preparing the merit list.
Based on the normalised scores, 1,07,221 candidates, around 2.6 times the advertised vacancies, were called for document scrutiny and the Physical Standard Test (PST). The process was conducted from July 13 to August 7, 2026.
Candidates who cleared the document verification and PST were then required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which was conducted from September 15 to September 26, 2026.
