UPES DAT 2022 exam begins today for MDes and BDes admission; Know exam day guidelines

NEW DELHI: The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is going to conduct UPES DAT 2022 from today, July 3 to 5, 2022. Candidates seeking admission to MDes and BDes courses offered by the School of Design Studies (SoDS) at UPES should take the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Design Aptitude Test (UPES DAT) 2022. The UPES DAT entrance exam will be held online mode and the exam duration will be one hour. UPES examination test window will be from 10 am to 1 pm.

UPES design aptitude test will have objective-type multiple-choice questions. Candidates appearing for the UPES DAT 2022 must adhere to the guidelines issued by the authority. The exam day guidelines consist of do's and don't for UPES DAT 2022 and more.

• It is mandatory to carry your UPES DAT admit card to the examination center.

• Make sure to carry valid original ID proof such as an Aadhar card, Voter id, Pan card, etc.

• Students are advised to reach the UPES examination center 15-30 minutes before the reporting time to be on time and save themselves from stress.

• Manage your time properly. You will have 60 minutes duration for the DAT exam; Divide your time accordingly.

• Students are advised not to engage in unfair means like cheating.

• Make sure to follow all the guidelines related to COVID-19: wear a mask, carry hand sanitizer, check your temperature at the entrance gate, maintain social distance and avoid crowds.

What after the UPES DAT exam 2022?

The dates for the Portfolio Interview (PI) will be announced. The candidates who will be shortlisted have to participate in the PI round. After the conclusion of the Portfolio Interview, the authority will declare the UPES DAT result in online mode.

Candidates can check the UPES DAT 2022 result by providing the required details in the login portal. UPES DAT result mentions the details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, section-wise marks obtained, overall merit, and category-wise merit.
