NEW DELHI: The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) has revised the Design Aptitude Test (UPES DAT) 2025 exam date. As per the UPES DAT 2025 revised date, the BDes and MDes exams will be conducted on April 5, 6. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on April 4, 5.

The UPES DAT 2025 registration deadline has also been extended to April 4. The UPES DAT 2025 registration form can be filled by visiting the official website, upes.ac.in. The UPES DAT 2025 registration fee is Rs 1,350. The UPES DAT 2025 registration fee can be paid using debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI.
The selection process involves passing UPES DAT 2025, portfolio presentation and interview. As per UPES, the passkey required to attempt UPES DAT 2025 will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number one day before the exam.

The UPES DAT 2025 BDes exam will be conducted in online mode The duration of UPES DAT 2025 BDes exam is 1 hour. The UPES DAT 2025 BDes question paper will be available in English. The total marks will be 160 marks. There will be 2 section- visual analogy, design and general awareness. Each section carries equal weightage. There will be a total of 40 questions in UPES DAT 2025 BDes paper. 4 marks will be awarded for right answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
MDes
The UPES DAT 2025 MDes will be a computer-based test. The UPES DAT 2025 MDes exam duration is 1 hour. The medium of the UPES DAT 2025 question paper is English. The UPES DAT 2025 MDes will carry a total of 160 marks. The UPES DAT 2025 MDes paper will be divided into 3 sections- quantitative, visual analogy, design and general awareness. As per the UPES DAT 2025 MDes marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and no marks will be deducted for wrong responses.
