UPTET result 2026 out for 19 lakh; 80.07% pass paper 1, 71.85% clear paper 2

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has declared the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET 2026) result for more than 19 lakh today, August 26. Candidates can download the UPTET 2026 paper 1 and paper 2 results from the official websites updeled.gov.in or upessc.up.gov.in, using the login details.
A total of 19,94,661 candidates appeared for the UPTET 2026 exam , which was conducted over three days in five shifts. Therefore, for the comparative evaluation of the candidates, the results have been prepared by following the normalization process as mentioned in point 9 of the TET notification.
UPTET 2026 was held on July 2, 3, and 4 across 955 examination centers in 60 districts of the state.

Pass percentage for working teachers
Notably, of 1,22,405 working teachers who appeared in the primary level, 93,387 (76.29%) have qualified. Similarly, out of 146,394 working teachers who appeared in the upper primary level, 113,384 (77.45%) have cleared the exam.
How to check UPTET 2026 result?
The steps to download the UP TET 2026 results are as follows.
- Visit the official website at upessc.up.gov.in.
- Click on the 'UPTET 2026 Result' link.
- A new page will appear
- Log in using your roll number and date of birth
- TET scorecard will appear on screen.
- Download and save the scorecard for future reference.
UPESSC issued the Uttar Pradesh TET 2026 provisional answer key on July 8, 2026, allowing candidates to cross-verify their responses using their OMR sheets and estimate probable scores. A window for raising objections against the provisional key was open from July 8 to 14. After reviewing all objections, the commission prepared the UPTET final answer key based on which the UPTET result 2026 has been prepared.
