Karnataka Recruitment 2026: District-wise notification for 900 general Kannada teacher posts out; how to apply

The Department of School Education, Karnataka, has issued separate notifications across educational districts for the recruitment of 900 general Kannada teachers. The teachers will be appointed to teach students in primary schools from classes 1 to 5.

Applicants who meet the prescribed educational qualifications and have cleared the required Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) can apply for the posts. • Check the notification regarding recruitment of general Kannada teachers 2026 in their respective educational districts
• Click on the respective district-wise notification and check the eligibility criteria
• Click on the online application link and enter all the information
• Upload all the documents, pay the application fee (if applicable) and then submit
• Download the submitted application form and take a printout for future reference

Along with the educational qualification, applicants must have qualified the TET conducted by either the State Government or the Central Government. The eligible tests include the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
