UPPSC PCS Prelims result 2024 declared on uppsc.up.nic.in; 15,066 qualify for Mains exam

UPPSC Pre Result 2024: 5,76,154 candidates applied for the exam; of which, 2,43,111 appeared in session 1 and 2,41,359 in session 2.

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the result of Combined State/ Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024. A total of 15,066 candidates have qualified in the exam. Candidates can check the UPPSC Prelims result 2024 on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.

“Based on the preliminary examination, a total of 15,066 candidates have been declared successful for entry into the main examination against a total of 947 vacancies. The result of the examination is available for the candidates to view on the Commission’s website: https://uppsc.up.nic.in,” the commission said in an official notice.

A total of 5,76,154 candidates registered for the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam 2024. In the first session, 2,43,111 candidates appeared, and in the second session, a total of 2,41,359 wrote the exam.

“In connection with the said result, a separate press release will be issued regarding the program of the main examination and the online application for the successful candidates. Information regarding the candidates' scores/cut-off marks, etc., will be made available on the Commission’s website after the final selection results are declared. No representation under the Right to Information Act, 2005 will be entertained in this regard,” UPPSC added.

UPPSC PCS Prelims answer key 2024 was issued on December 26 and candidates were allowed to raise objections till December 31.

UPPSC PCS Prelims exam was held on December 22 in two shifts. The commission revised the prelims exam date following protests by aspirants against two-day exam and use of normalisation process. Several aspirants staged protests in front of the commission's office demanding 'one day, one exam'.
