NEW DELHI: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) will close the registration window for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) 2025 today, March 10. Eligible candidates can fill out the UPSC CMS 2025 application form through the official website at upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC CMS 2025 exam will be conducted on July 20. To register for the UPSC CMS exam 2025, male candidates from the unreserved category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. Candidates from reserved categories and all female applicants are exempt from paying the fee.
“All female candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and persons with benchmark disability categories are exempted from payment of the fee. However, no fee exemption is available to OBC candidates, and they are required to pay the prescribed fee in full,” the official notice said.
The commission will open the UPSC CMS 2025 application form correction window on March 12. Candidates will be able to edit their UPSC CMS application form 2025 till March 18. The commission stated that candidates cannot make any changes in their OTR profile for specific details, including name (as per Class 10), date of birth, father's name, mother's name, mobile number, and email ID.
The eligibility criteria for the UPSC CMS 2025 are given below.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for candidates appearing for the UPSC CMS 2025 exam is 32 years as of August 1, 2025. This means candidates must have been born on or after August 2, 1993. However, for medical officers in the general duty medical officer’s sub-cadre of the central health services, the upper age limit is 35 years as of August 1, 2025.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the written and practical parts of the final Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) examination to be eligible for admission to the examination.
Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates must be physically and medically fit according to the physical/medical standards for the combined medical services examination, 2025.

Candidates will have to submit the documents in the following prescribed format while applying for the UPSC CMS 2025.
